Information regarding

COVID-19/Corona Virus

Our charters are currently operating.

After careful monitoring of the ever-evolving environment around the COVID-19 pandemic, and following guidance from local and national health organizations, our charters are currently available to book.

We follow the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, but are taking additional measures to ensure our cleaning and disinfection process is even more rigorous.  Yacht charters are an exclusive and private gathering for small groups, so the risk of infection can be well controlled when all guests participate in good hygiene, cough etiquette and social distancing.

As of 20 April 2021, the government continues its strict entry restrictions for national infection control measures:

  • Entry Registration:  Individuals entering The Kingdom of Norway must provide necessary information in order to ensure compliance to the quarantine regulations, the enhancement of national precautionary measures and to contribute to the disease detection and tracking system.

  • Negative Test Certificate: The requirement to present a certificate showing a negative test for SARS-CoV-2 before arrival in Norway is changed from 72 hours to 24 hours. For people arriving by plane, the test may have been taken during the last 24 hours before the scheduled departure time for the first part of the flight. The flight can be a direct flight to Norway or a continuous flight to Norway with stopovers at other airports. This will open for travelers from other continents with long travel time. Foreigners who cannot present documentation on such a test will not be given the opportunity to enter Norway.

  • Test Obligation: Today, there is a requirement for a PCR test at the border for people who have stayed in the UK and South Africa. This requirement is now extended to Ireland, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Brazil. In addition, persons who have resided in these countries between 15 and 25 January will be tested as soon as possible with the test method PCR.

  • Quarantine: All arrivals must be quarantined for ten days. It is possible to quarantine after day seven at the earliest if the person tests negative for covid-19 twice after arrival.  Travelers who do not have a permanent residence in Norway (owned or rented) must present confirmation of a suitable place of residence for carrying out the quarantine on arrival in Norway. The confirmation must be filled in by the person making the place of residence available, for example the employer or relatives.

Please notice that both national and local rules and regulations related to the coronavirus and traveling in Norway change frequently and on short notice. All travelers, both international and domestic, are therefore encouraged to seek out the most updated information by visiting relevant websites which we have listed below.
