Deep sea fishing for big Atlantic cod

This packaged tour allows you to go fishing everyday for 4, 6 or 8 hours over 3 consecutive days. Each day you will be fishing with a fishing rod or reel, and no experience is needed.  Whether you are a seasoned fisher or beginner, the crew will help you with the equipment onboard.  The chances of catching lots of cod are extremely high.  The crew can also teach you about the anatomy of the cod and the history of this incredible Lofoten fishery while you enjoy the the luxury of being aboard a 90 foot sailing yacht.

Fishing for cod in Lofoten between February and March has a deep history for Norway going back thousands of years. The arctic cod have migrated from the Barents Sea to the northern Norwegian coast to spawn.  The Lofoten fishery was a key factor in the foundation of Norway's development as a country and is still one of the world's largest seasonal fisheries.

Experience the spectacular nature and picturesque views in Lofoten while aboard sailing yacht Stella Oceana.  We provide a classy, comfortable, spacious and relaxed atmosphere with friendly and professional crew.  On this tour, you can expect to catch big spawning cod, capture great photos and enjoy local Norwegian meals.
